Micronix is a Microcontroller based event.
Problem Description:
1) Contestants
have to design a Microcontroller based remote(wireless) having two parts ie. Both
transmitter & receiver . 2) The
receiver part should sense from at least 3ft distance. 3)
The transmitter will contain at least
eight switches; among which four switches will select four channels(which will
be denoted by different coloured LEDs at the receiver end in the event) 4) Apart
from this the rest four switches will be for special functions- a) Swapping
between channels(ie. LEDs ) b) Reset
(ie. All the LEDs will be at turned off condition ) c) Channel
increment d) Channel
decrement
Incrementing means, if one presses the particular switch the next LED
will glow.
For example : Suppose the TV is displaying STAR ANANDA at channel
18.Now for pressing the channel
incrementing switch it will go to channel 19.For another press it will show
channel 20 and so on. Decrementing will act in the reverse
manner. If the incrementing reaches the
last LED; for another press it will illuminate the first LED. Special credit will be given for
further special functions apart from the above stated four special functions.
But those four are mandatory.
Marking
Strategy: For each LED(defining
channel)-100 points Swapping- 500
points
Other given special functions-200 points Special Notes: SMPS and AC plug points
will be provided. But no wire will be supplied. All the necessary things have
to be brought in by the contestants. Carry on checking the website for further
